LUCIUS HENRY "MR. JOHNNY"
Age 97, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, New Kensington, Pennsylvania. Beloved Son of the late Luther Johnson and Alice Johnson (nee Hyman). He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gladys Johnson (nee Folkes), his brothers Deryck Johnson, Egbert Plummer, sisters Doris Hyman, Erlim "Lurline" Johnson Wright, daughter-in-law Novlet Johnson, and grandson Kenneth Norman Baker III.
He is survived by nine children: Carlton Johnson, Hinds "Seymour" (Pauline) Johnson, Sonia (Michael) Thomas, Beverly Joy Morrison, Jennifer Johnson, Barbara (Owen) Johnson-Lee, Thelma "Cherry" (Thomas) Jones, Noel (Valarie) Johnson, and Alice Johnson.
Twenty-nine grandchildren: Rohan Johnson, Dalrick Dandy, Krystal (Antonie) Griffiths, Carlton Johnson Jr, Maurice Johnson, Hines Johnson Jr, Tyler Johnson, Tachelle Johnson, Michael (Mikela) Thomas Jr, Sharnece Thomas, Shaina (Ross) Watson, Noelle (Simone) Morrison-Campanoni, Vanessa Morrison, Brian (Sara) Johnson, Jawfal (Caroyln) Pusey, Nicole Davis, Jamaal (Shizuka) Lee, Tesfa Lee, Changa Lee, Hakim Lee, Jamila Lee, Jessie McMorris, Noel "Michael" (Crystal) Johnson, Laniyah Johnson, Nalijah Johnson, Elijah Johnson, Millionna Johnson, Gladys Johnson, Letisha Baker.
Twenty-five great-grandchildren: Isabella Griffiths, Michael Thomas III, Mason Thomas, Maliyah Thomas, Gary Long, Sydney Long, Aubrey Watson, Aniyah Watson, Ross Watson III, Marc Donovan Campanoni, Joshua Ramos, Justin Ramos, Brian Johnson Jr, Jason Pusey, Jaliyah Pusey, Carter Pusey, Cai Pusey, Desean Clarke, Mahari Davis Jr, Nasare Davis, Jeremiah Davis, Aaqil Lee, Zoe Lee, Julian Lee, Kamani Lee.
Friends received at WILLIAM F. GROSS FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 11735 Frankstown Rd. (at Rodi Rd.), Penn Hills on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 4-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10 a.m.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
